Deriving the orientation angles
One would like to use the asymmetry to get the orientation of the
source. One could then test unified models (Orr & Browne 1982;
Barthel 1989). Essentially, the aim is to use the depolarization data
to derive the values of 
_+ and _-
for the two lobes; then a model for the depolarizing halo is used to
give _+ and _-
as a function of angle. I will address the second of these independent
steps first.
